Acceptable Usage Policy

RWG MOBILE – ACCEPTABLE USAGE POLICY

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) explains how you must use RWG Mobile services in a fair, lawful, and responsible way. It applies to your SIM, plan allowances (including any “Unlimited” plans), calls, texts, data usage, and any related features.

Defined terms: Any capitalised terms used in this Policy (and not defined here) have the meaning given in the RWG Mobile Terms & Conditions.

1) What Does “Acceptable Use” Mean?

RWG Mobile services are provided for private, personal, and legitimate consumer use. That means the Services are designed for day-to-day mobile use by an individual customer - not for business resale, automation, or usage patterns that put unusual strain on the network.

This Policy helps you understand:

  • What fair use looks like,
  • What is not allowed,
  • What we may do if your usage falls outside acceptable use.

2) Fair Use Limits on “Unlimited” Plans

We show the acceptable use limit for each plan on our website and/ or in your account / dashboard.

If a plan includes “Unlimited” minutes, texts, or data, it is still subject to fair use controls to protect all customers and the network. Unless we state otherwise for a specific product, the following fair use caps apply to RWG Mobile “Unlimited” plans:

  • Data: up to 200 GB
  • Minutes: up to 3,000 minutes
  • SMS: up to 3,000 texts

If your usage goes beyond what we consider reasonable personal use (even if you haven’t hit the caps above), it may still fall outside this Policy.

3) Your Responsibilities (what you must do)

You must:

  • Use the Services legally and responsibly. Do not use the Services for improper, dishonest, illegal, or fraudulent activity.
  • Avoid harmful or offensive use. Do not send, upload, store, or share content that is abusive, threatening, indecent, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
  • Do not harass or spam. Do not persistently send unwanted communications, or cause nuisance, distress, or inconvenience to others.
  • Do not disrupt the network.Do not do anything (intentionally or not) that jeopardises, damages, overloads, or interferes with the Services or our network partners' systems.
  • Use compatible devices. Only use devices that are suitable for the Services and compliant with applicable technical standards and legal requirements.
  • Follow reasonable instructions. Cooperate with reasonable security checks, verification steps, and requests from RWG Mobile that relate to safe and proper use (this may include us contacting you).
  • Respect intellectual property. Do not send or upload materials protected by copyright or other rights unless you have permission or a valid legal basis.
  • Do not resell or commercially share the Services. The Services are for your own personal use. You must not re-supply, resell, distribute, or make the Services available to others for commercial gain.
  • Do not bypass age controls. You must not attempt to bypass age-restricted access controls or safeguards (where relevant).
  • Keep your SIM secure. Protect your SIM and account details. Your SIM remains the property of RWG Mobile (or our network partner, where applicable).
  • Do not use GSM gateways or similar devices. You must not use the Services through, or in connection with, any GSM Gateway, SIM box, call routing device, or similar equipment.

4) What Happens If Usage Falls Outside This Policy?

If we reasonably believe your usage is not consistent with acceptable personal use, or it presents a risk to the network or other customers, RWG Mobile and/or our network partners may take action.

Actions may include (depending on the situation):

  • Suspending or restricting the Services temporarily
  • Deactivating your SIM/account,
  • Changing your account status (for example, applying blocks or limits),
  • Asking you to move to a different plan more suitable for your usage,
  • Applying additional charges for example, charging standard rates for certain activity), where allowed under your Terms.

We’ll act proportionately where possible, but some situations may require immediate action to protect customers, the network, or to meet legal obligations.

5) Common Reasons We May Take Action

Your usage may fall outside this Policy for reasons including (but not limited to): :

  • SIM misuse or SIM integrity risk (e.g., cloning indicators, tampering, abnormal signalling patterns)
  • Device/SIM causing network issues (e.g., behaviour that disrupts service or impacts other users)
  • GSM Gateway / SIM box activity (e.g., using the SIM to route or terminate calls commercially)
  • Emergency services misuse (e.g., abusing 999/112 or similar emergency access)
  • Data abuse (e.g., denial-of-service patterns, automated high-frequency connections, malicious traffic)
  • Service abuse (e.g., usage that exceeds what a typical consumer would reasonably generate for personal use)
  • Fraud or attempted fraud (e.g., identity misuse, payment abuse, chargeback patterns tied to misuse)
  • Multiple high-allowance usage (e.g., multiple plans with very high allowances being used in parallel in a way that looks non-consumer or automated)

6) If your SIM is Deactivated

If your SIM is deactivated:

  • You may lose access to the Services,
  • Your phone number may be reassigned to another customer (subject to number management rules),
  • And you maynot be entitled to a refund of any remaining credit balance, unless the law or our Terms require otherwise.

7) Age-restricted Services

If RWG Mobile offers any age-restricted services:

  • You may not access them if you are under the relevant age limit
  • If you are old enough to access them, you must not share or show age-restricted content to anyone under the applicable age
  • If you allow someone under the relevant age to use your device or SIM, you must ensure age-restricted access is disabled.

8) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time (for example, to reflect network requirements, product changes, or legal/regulatory updates). The latest version will always be published on the RWG Mobile website.
